Unfortunately, the term Near Death Experience or NDE is overused and even used improperly. The term was coined first by Dr. Raymond Moody, and has a specific meaning.
An NDE is not a near-miss car accident or other event in which a person thinks they could've died and was never declared clinically dead (or considered dead by our traditional meanings of the word).
If you've had a confirmed NDE (e.g., were able to describe to others what people around you were doing or saying while unconscious or even declared brain dead by the traditional medical definition of the term), I'd be interested in hearing about if you're willing to share.
Please reach out using the message button at the bottom right of this screen.
I look forward to connecting.
